Copycat Little Debbie Fudge Brownies (Walnut Version)

Preheat oven to 325°F and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.

Whisk together melted butter and sugar.

Add eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth.

Stir in cocoa powder, flour, cornstarch, and salt.

Spread batter evenly in the pan.

Bake 18-22 minutes, until the center is just set. Bake time can vary, so keep an eye on the center. They will not look fully done, but don’t keep baking them; they should look like fudge.

Let cool on the counter for a bit, then move to the fridge for a couple of hours (or freezer for 30-60 minutes).

For the Frosting:

Pour cream over semi-sweet chocolate chips and microwave for 30 seconds.

Let sit 1 minute, then stir until smooth. Add vanilla.

Spread over brownies and top with chopped walnuts.

After cooling, transfer to the fridge or freezer until firm. This makes them easier to lift out of the pan and slice cleanly.
